The firm was pleased to have Inge join as an Of Counsel member in 2012. With over 30 years of experience in both private and public colleges and universities (24 of those years at Cornell University and seven at Yale), Inge is an internationally renowned expert in philanthropy. Marts & Lundy is pleased to have her expertise available to our clients.
Her cumulative experience at Cornell and Yale includes 17 years at the vice presidential level. At Cornell, Inge led the university’s first billion dollar campaign to a successful $1.5 billion conclusion (over-goal by $250 million). At Yale, she led the Yale Tomorrow Campaign to $3.9 billion ($900 million over the initial goal). During the planning and execution of these two comprehensive campaigns, Inge was instrumental in developing eight- and nine-figure gifts, establishing new programs, and developing international giving. Over the years she has managed organizational build-up and downsizing and, while focusing on professional development for staff and maintaining morale through challenging times, significantly increased giving between campaign periods. (After the Cornell campaign, the average monthly total of new gifts and commitments rose 84%.)
