Erin Lewis

Erin joined Marts&Lundy in 2023 to provide specialized expertise in alumni relations and alumni associations, the integration of campus-wide Advancement functions, mergers of foundations and alumni associations, and the modernization of alumni and donor engagement experiences.  

Presently, Erin serves as the Chief Advancement Operations and Strategy Officer at Auburn University. She joined Auburn in the early stages of integrating the development, alumni affairs, and university communications functions, providing strategic leadership to several teams including marketing, data insights, technology, donor relations, and advancement services.  

Prior to joining Auburn, Erin was the Vice President for Alumni and Donor Engagement at the University of Iowa Center for Advancement. In 2017, Erin led the successful integration of the UI Foundation and the UI Alumni Association to create one fully integrated advancement organization. Erin designed an entirely new alumni engagement framework as a result of the merger, reimagining alumni programs to serve the mission of the university. In addition to merging the two nonprofit organizations, Iowa’s advancement integration included the creation of a collaborative advancement model with collegiate partners. Erin’s additional experience at Iowa includes leading Donor Relations, Annual Giving, and Communications and Marketing.
