George Joined Marts&Lundy in 2023, bringing his deep knowledge and experience in independent school fundraising, governance, and program management. Serving as Director of Advancement at Middlesex School in Concord, Massachusetts, George oversees and collaborates on all institutional fundraising and alumni engagement programming. Over the past 19 years, George has led multiple comprehensive fundraising and strategic initiatives that have transformed Middlesex physically and financially including the Mx2, Campaign for Middlesex, which successfully raised more than $225 million for new construction, building renovations, and endowment. Since joining the faculty in 2005, George has traveled extensively for Middlesex, both domestically and internationally, as a senior representative of the school promoting and advancing the school’s intuitional strategic priorities.
A veteran school administrator and educator, George has held a variety of important leadership roles throughout his 30-plus-year career in Independent school education. He has extensive institutional experience and a proven track record of building strong collaborative teams and streamlining programs. He is an active member of CASE, NAIS, and ISLG.
An outdoor enthusiast, George, when away from fundraising, enjoys spending time with family and any activity that involves being on or near the ocean.
