Krista Finlay

Krista is an accomplished and results-oriented senior executive with extensive communications, fundraising, issues management, government relations, and stakeholder management experience, specifically within the health and hospital sector.

Most recently Krista held the role of President and CEO of the Mackenzie Health Foundation, serving the communities of Vaughan, Richmond Hill and King City in Ontario, Canada. Prior to taking on the CEO role, Krista also served as the Vice President of Communications, Public Affairs & Stakeholder Relations accountable for both Hospital and Foundation programing.  Under her leadership, the Mackenzie Health Foundation officially reached the $250-million Ultimate Campaign milestone, the largest fundraising drive led by a community hospital in Canada to help build and equip Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital and enhance care at Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital. 

During her tenure as Vice President of Communications at Mackenzie Health, she was also instrumental in developing and implementing a strategic communications and stakeholder framework to support the opening of the new Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital, as well as managing a wide range of issues from a marketing, public affairs, government and community partnerships perspective.
