Marina Shepaksov
Consultant
With 15 years of experience in development, Marina brings a broad perspective and well-rounded expertise to her work with clients. As a consultant with Marts&Lundy Canada (formerly Offord Group), she has partnered with organizations of all sizes — ranging from small Toronto-based charities to large American universities — providing strategic guidance in major giving and pipeline management, annual giving, case for support development, campaign planning, and board and staff training.
Marina’s consulting approach is informed by a decade of hands-on fundraising experience. At Weizmann Canada (the Canadian foundation for the Weizmann Institute of Science) she managed a portfolio of major gift donors and led the revitalization of the annual fund. Previously, at Jewish Family & Child Service, she led and grew annual giving, donor relations, events, and data management.
Since joining Marts&Lundy in 2019, Marina has been recognized for her leadership and client impact, earning a promotion from Associate to Consultant in 2022. She co-chairs the firm’s Client Diversification Initiative, which offers pro bono and subsidized support to nonprofits advancing social justice, and serves on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.
Outside of the firm, she sits on the board of Mercer Union, a centre for contemporary art, and volunteers at the Loran Scholarship Foundation.
