Nancy L. Raybin

Of Counsel

Nancy is the former managing partner of Raybin Associates and brings to her client work a background in strategic planning and business consulting with McKinsey & Company, experience in organizing and running nonprofit health clinics in Appalachia, and a particular interest in solving big, complex problems for nonprofit institutions.

She is a skilled facilitator and is much in demand by organizations seeking to build consensus and agreement on the action steps for change and growth. Nancy has worked with a wide range of nonprofits in various sectors including arts and culture, education, religion, human services and the environment. Her skills in strategic planning, governance, management and organizational issues and all areas of fundraising have helped hundreds of clients.

Nancy is a Past Chair of The Giving Institute and previously chaired the Giving USA Foundation, which publishes Giving USAthe oldest and most comprehensive annual report on philanthropy.  Nancy is also a frequent speaker at Fundraising Day in New York, the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), and Women in Development-New York.

A leader by nature, training and practice, Nancy graduated from Vanderbilt University, where she has also served as a Trustee. She holds a Master’s degree in Public and Private Management from Yale University.
