Julie Anne joined Marts&Lundy in 2022, bringing her broad experience in reunion and annual fund service, major and principal gifts fundraising, prospect research and database management, and development communications to the firm.

In her 24 years of experience in philanthropy, Julie Anne spent the first half of her career serving in increasingly senior traditional frontline fundraising roles in reunion and annual gift fundraising at Harvard Business School, major gift fundraising at Wellesley College, and major and principal gift fundraising at Harvard Graduate School of Education.  

After serving as Director of Strategic Development at Emerson Collective, a philanthropy and advocacy group in Palo Alto, CA, Julie Anne widened her scope to serve in wide variety of domestic and international roles across the nonprofit sector, including Director of Development, United States, for INSEAD, a global business school in Fontainebleau France, Singapore and Abu Dhabi, and Senior Philanthropic Advisor at Tulane University. She also served Tony Blair’s Africa Governance Initiative as a fundraising trustee and volunteer, and she took on many interim and change agency roles at smaller nonprofits, both in the United States and abroad.  In her most recent role as Director of Strategic Philanthropy at University of the People, Julie Anne focused on dramatically increasing the high net worth pipeline for the University, while also helping to build a culture of philanthropy at an institution experiencing global and exponential growth.
