Most recently she held the position of vice president for advancement at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (2010 – 2012) and, immediately prior to that, CEO of the Washington State University Foundation as well as vice president for university development (2007 – 2010). At both institutions, Brenda successfully rebuilt and revitalized the advancement programs. She has also held senior development positions at Michigan State University and DePaul University.
