George Maley

Consulting Partner

George serves as the Chief Advancement Officer at Noble and Greenough School (Nobles) in Dedham, MA, a role he has held since 2008. During his 23-year tenure at the institution, George has helped transform the school’s financial landscape, most notably by leading a successful eight-year campaign that raised $137 million. Under his team's leadership, the Nobles endowment has grown from $38 million to $265 million, with the establishment of over 100 new endowed funds. George's focus has long been on strengthening and growing Annual and Capital giving at a high rate.

Beyond his administrative success, George is deeply integrated into campus life as a varsity football coach and a dedicated advisor to seven students. Before joining Nobles, he served as the Annual Fund Director and Director of Major Gifts at the Peddie School in New Jersey, where he also balanced roles as a dorm parent and coach for wrestling, track, and football. At Nobles, George also serves on the Finance, Buildings, Investment and Governance Committees and attends all Trustee board meetings.

George holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from Juniata College—where he was a dual-sport athlete in football and track and served as the sports editor for the college newspaper—and a Master’s in Business Communications from LaSalle University. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for both The Charles River School, a Pre-K through 8th grade school in Dover, MA, and the Island School in Eleuthera, Bahamas.
