Jackie joins Marts&Lundy with extensive leadership experience in major universities as well as research-intensive and clinical healthcare institutions.
Jackie most recently served as Vice Chancellor of University Advancement at the University of Missouri. Previously she served as Vice President for University Relations at the University of Maryland, College Park.
Her deep experience in academic medicine includes serving as Senior Vice President for Development and, previous to that, as Vice President of Health Sciences Development at the University of Iowa Foundation. She also served as Assistant Vice President of Medical Center Development and Alumni Affairs at The Ohio State University.
During her tenure at Missouri, Jackie strengthened and cultivated the key partnerships that support the university's philanthropic goals and alumni relations, as well as collaborated with leaders across campus to build upon the university's ongoing fundraising efforts. Jackie’s noted history of success in building support for academic medical centers and her experience in healthcare fundraising served as a guide for the University of Missouri Advancement team as they continued securing investments for the NextGen Precision Health Institute and the new MU Healthcare Children’s Hospital.
While at Maryland, Jackie spearheaded a $1.5 billion campaign and helped secure a $220 million gift, the largest in the university's history. There she led a team of 300 professionals in the division of University Relations, an integrated advancement program including development, Alumni Association, and university marketing and communications.
She successfully led a team of 160 professionals to execute the campaign For Iowa. Forever More, a $1.7 billion comprehensive campaign that raised more than $1.97 billion. Her University of Iowa Foundation team secured the largest gift to the campaign, a $45 million commitment in support of the creation of a neuroscience institute and a $25 million gift to name a new children’s hospital.
While serving as Vice President of Health Sciences Development at Iowa she led a team of professionals raising funds for all areas of University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, the Carver College of Medicine, and four health science colleges. Her team raised $90 million annually for medicine and $20 million annually for health science colleges.
At The Ohio State University, Jackie served on the team that successfully executed the $475 million Power to Change Lives campaign to support research, clinical care, and education for the medical center and college of medicine.
