Jim Saporito

Jim joined Marts&Lundy in 2023, bringing more than 30 years of experience in fundraising and communications. In 2023, Jim retired from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center where he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer beginning in 2011. He oversaw a comprehensive development program with a staff of 52, enhanced physician and faculty engagement, added direct marketing and grateful patient programs, incorporated significant upgrades to advancement services capabilities, and led the successful completion of the institution’s first comprehensive campaign. During his tenure at Cincinnati Children’s, annual philanthropic revenue increased from $14M in 2011, to $70M in 2023.

Prior to Cincinnati Children’s, Jim served as interim Chairman of Institutional Relations and Development at the Cleveland Clinic. 

During his career, Jim was an active member of the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP); the Philanthropy Leadership Council; and the Woodmark Group – a consortium of the top 26 free-standing pediatric hospitals in the United States and Canada – where he served as a member of the governance board beginning in 2016.
