She has a passion for annual giving and has an accomplished career leading successful programs. She finds joy in supporting a mission by helping donors and volunteers find their passion through philanthropy. Every gift matters.
Martha is a thoughtful strategist, a natural collaborator and convener, and an exceptional manager of programs, projects, and people. She is driven by her ambition to help teams achieve and exceed their goals. She wants annual giving programs to thrive and takes great pride in her role on the steering committee for the Annual Giving Directors Consortium. She has been a member of this esteemed group of industry leaders for 20 years; where top programs share best practices and the latest technology, channels, and successful strategies.
Martha is currently the Associate Vice President of Annual Giving and School Programs for the University of Rochester, where she oversees several Advancement programs. In addition to the Annual Giving Programs for the University of Rochester and its Medical Center, she oversees Rochester’s Advancement fundraising programs for the Simon Business School, Eastman School of Music, Memorial Art Gallery, and Warner School of Education. Her portfolio includes a comprehensive annual giving program responsible for 20 percent of Advancement’s cash raised each year. She led the program to triple its annual cash raised in the last campaign and the program continues to grow each year. Prior to Rochester, Martha was responsible for the Annual Giving Program for Carnegie Mellon University and Emerson College and served in several fundraising roles at the University of Connecticut.
