Steve joined Marts&Lundy in 2025, after more than 35 years leading philanthropic and advancement programs in health systems, higher education, and nonprofit institutions. He has developed and led multiple campaigns ranging from tens to several hundreds of millions of dollars, with deep specialization in donor recognition, naming strategies, and creating exceptional donor journeys through engaging recognition and experience.

Currently serving as Chief Philanthropy Officer of Mohawk Valley Health System Foundation and Principal of Bespoke Philanthropy, Steve has overseen enterprise-wide donor recognition programs, created naming opportunity frameworks for both new and legacy facilities, and integrated recognition strategies to reinforce institutional identity and donor impact. He also works closely with boards, executive leadership, staff, and volunteers to build philanthropic culture, sustain revenue streams, and grow major and principal giving.

Steve previously served as Chair of The Woodmark Group, Co-Chair of the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals CDO Advisory Committee, and as a founding Board Member of Roundup River Ranch, one of Paul Newman’s Serious Fun camps. He lives with his wife, Kim, in Colorado and enjoys fly fishing, cycling, and following college baseball.
