Marts&Lundy is pleased to announce that firm members have elected Douglas G. Stewart to serve as President & Chief Executive Officer. Stewart is a highly regarded international expert in strategic fundraising consulting. His leadership roles in the firm have spanned 14 years. He led the firm’s Health Sciences Practice from 2009 through 2016 and served as Chairman of the Board from 2017 to 2023. These experiences coupled with his more than 30 years as a development professional have empowered Stewart to shape a meaningful and clear vision for Marts&Lundy.
“As Marts&Lundy nears 100 years of service to philanthropy, I have never been more excited about our future,” said Stewart. “The events of the past several years provided us the opportunity to reflect on the very real responsibility we have to steadfastly support mission-driven organizations. We have recommitted to innovation and to harnessing the collective wisdom of the firm to provide the very best service to clients and to one another.”
In order to fully support Marts&Lundy’s culture of collaboration, service excellence, and continuous professional growth, Stewart has named Frank Interlichia to the new position of Chief Operating Officer. Interlichia joined the firm in 2017 with more than 30 years of experience building and leading successful healthcare, college, and university development programs. He served on the firm’s Board of Directors from 2021 to August 2023, when he assumed his new responsibilities as COO.
“We have a tremendous team of talented people in every aspect of our operation,” said Interlichia. “It’s an honor to have the opportunity to ensure that every firm member has what they need to provide exceptional value to our clients and to achieve their personal goals. I look forward to what we will accomplish together as a firm.” In addition to Stewart and Interlichia, Marts&Lundy’s Executive Leadership Team includes Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer Robert C.
