A New Name, A Continued Commitment: Introducing Marts&Lundy Asia Pacific
A note from Dan Martin, Senior Consultant & Managing Director, Marts&Lundy Asia Pacific.
For more than 20 years, Marts&Lundy has partnered with institutions across Australia, New Zealand, and parts of Asia to help them realise their philanthropic ambitions and achieve meaningful impact in their communities. As our presence across the region continues to grow, I’m proud to share we are updating the name of our regional office from Marts&Lundy Australia to Marts&Lundy Asia Pacific.
This is more than a change in name—it’s a reflection of the relationships we’ve built, the work we’ve done, and the renewed commitment to the future we’re shaping together.
Why the Change?
Over the years, we’ve referred to this region in different ways—Australasia, Australia–New Zealand, or simply Australia. But the reality is that our client footprint has expanded beyond those borders. We’ve worked with institutions in Singapore, China, and elsewhere in Asia, supported by both our regional team and colleagues based in the United States. As those relationships deepen and increase, the need for greater clarity and consistency in how we define ourselves has become clear.
“Asia Pacific” is a more accurate, globally recognised term that reflects our service to a broader geography and aligns us with international peers and partners who use the same language.
What Does this Mean for Our Clients?
While the name has changed, our commitment hasn’t. We remain deeply invested in our work in Australia and New Zealand—those relationships are at the core of who we are. This revised name also makes room for the full scope of our regional partnerships to be acknowledged and celebrated.
There is no change to our team or services—only greater visibility into the regional expertise we’ve built over time and the direction we’re heading.
Looking Ahead
We’re excited about what’s next. This change signals not just where we are now, but where we’re going. While we don’t currently have offices in Asia, we are actively building relationships, learning from local contexts, and laying the foundation for a future with even greater reach and relevance across the Asia Pacific region.
I’m incredibly proud of the work our team has accomplished together and of the trust our clients continue to place in us. Whether you’ve partnered with us recently or over the years, thank you for being our partner, in helping to deliver philanthropic solutions that create real, and meaningful contributions to society. We look forward to this exciting next chapter—together.
