Marts&Lundy Of Counsel Michael Sinkus Honored with the Loyalty to Bucknell Award
We are excited to share that our long-time colleague and friend, Michael Sinkus, has received Bucknell University’s Loyalty to Bucknell Award. Michael is an integral component of the fabric of Marts&Lundy. Since joining us in 1978, Michael has played a significant role in shaping the firm’s strategic vision and accelerating the innovation that distinguishes our service to clients and to philanthropy. In addition to his formal leadership roles — which included serving as Marts&Lundy Chair and Chief Executive Officer from 1999-2006 — Michael has been a mentor to countless firm members and a trusted, loyal advisor to hundreds of clients during his 46 years as a Marts&Lundy senior consultant.
The Loyalty to Bucknell Award is a remarkable honor in its own right. There is more to this story, however. Marts&Lundy co-founder Arnaud Marts served as Bucknell’s president from 1935-1945. Though decades separated the two men, Michael credits his time as a student at Bucknell for ingraining his belief in the transformative effect of philanthropy and kick-starting his long and successful fundraising consulting career.
The Loyalty to Bucknell Award is presented annually to a member of the alumni community whose service, dedication and commitment to alma mater are extraordinary. You can read more about the award and Michael’s journey here.
Michael currently serves as Marts&Lundy Of Counsel.
