Philanthropy in Aging Services: A National Benchmarking Study
By Kate Harris, Consultant and Irina Thompson, Associate Consultant
Many sectors of the nonprofit world have been transformed by the power of philanthropy ̶ from higher education to arts and culture. Now, the moment has arrived for aging services. To date, the research has been scarce on what is normative for fundraising in this sector. We are thrilled to finally unveil the results of the first ever national study on philanthropy in aging services.
Nonprofit leaders in aging services are discovering myriad ways in which philanthropy can enhance their ability to transform lives, drive mission impact, and compete in the marketplace. Whether you have a mature fundraising program or want to get started on a proactive fundraising effort, this information is critical for fundraisers, boards, and leaders in aging services.
The most comprehensive research on the sector to date, the report and accompanying presentation tools are designed to help leaders of organizations serving older adults make informed decisions about their fundraising strategy and approach.
