Webinar Recording: The Benefits of Joining (or Forming) a Community of Practice
In this webinar, we explore the multifaceted benefits of Communities of Practice (CoPs), where professionals come together to share knowledge, foster collaboration, and drive innovation. During the webinar, three founding members of UC Berkeley’s Campus Volunteer Board Network will share how this now 78-member CoP was formed, why it continues to thrive, and how its members – and by extension the Boards they serve – benefit from the collective experience.
During the session, we explore:
- The key elements that contribute to the vitality and longevity of CoPs.
- How CoPs facilitate knowledge sharing, problem-solving, and professional growth.
- Common obstacles and effective approaches for overcoming them in establishing and sustaining CoPs.
- Ways to expand the reach and impact of CoPs, both within organizations and across broader networks.
